Bitcoin Trading Challenge Proposal

Overview

The Bitcoin Trading Challenge is designed to boost community engagement and trading activity on our platform. Participants must invite friends, trade a minimum volume of 100,000 USDT in Bitcoin, and engage on social media to qualify for exciting rewards.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Bitcoin Trading Challenge, users must:

  1. Invite Friends: Refer at least 3 friends to the platform.
  2. Trading Volume: Achieve a trading volume of at least 100,000 USDT in Bitcoin.
  3. Social Media Engagement: Post about their participation on Twitter, tag the platform’s official account, and tag 3 friends in the post.

Steps to Participate

  1. Sign Up and Invite Friends:
  • Register on our trading platform.
  • Use the unique referral link to invite at least 3 friends to sign up and verify their accounts.
  1. Trade Bitcoin:
  • Trade a cumulative volume of 100,000 USDT in Bitcoin. This includes both buy and sell orders within the challenge period.
  1. Social Media Post:
  • Post a tweet about joining the Bitcoin Trading Challenge.
  • Include a screenshot of your trading dashboard showing your progress.
  • Tag the official platform account (e.g., @PlatformName) and 3 friends.
  • Use the hashtag #BitcoinTradingChallenge.

Rewards

Participants who meet all the criteria will be eligible for the following rewards:

  1. Top Trader Rewards:
  • 1st Place: $5,000 USDT
  • 2nd Place: $3,000 USDT
  • 3rd Place: $2,000 USDT
  • 4th to 10th Place: $500 USDT each
  1. Lucky Draw:
  • All eligible participants who meet the criteria will be entered into a lucky draw for a chance to win $1,000 USDT (5 winners).
  1. Referral Bonuses:
  • For every friend referred who trades at least 10,000 USDT, participants will receive an additional $100 USDT, up to a maximum of $500 USDT.

Challenge Duration

  • Start Date: July 1, 2024
  • End Date: July 31, 2024

Terms and Conditions

  • The trading volume is calculated based on executed trades (both buys and sells) in Bitcoin.
  • Only verified accounts are eligible for participation.
  • The social media post must remain public and visible throughout the challenge period.
  • The referral bonus is applicable only for friends who complete a minimum trading volume of 10,000 USDT.
  • The platform reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of fraudulent activities or violating the terms.

I like this idea but I don’t know how we would implement it exactly, maybe we can add WBTC to the bridge and pay the winner directly on Vega

I just had an idea it is always better to do somekind of giveaway to attract trades on the platform.
Also we can also invite some influencer traders how has good followers on X to become an ambassador or use there referral to bring more audience and incentives them with discount or something.
Also most of the trading is happening on solana right now and all the energy is towards trading meme coins so unless that changes we need to find a way to bring traders on the platform.
